Moulding Choices

Moulding is used to make frames. Quality custom frames are selected to support, encase and add beauty to your art. The size of the frame is carefully selected to support the weight of the artwork. The style of the frames will be selected to enhance the artwork for years to come. In Preservation Plus™ framing using wood frames, the rabbet (the wood edge against the artwork) will be sealed to ensure the artwork is safe from lignin. Lignin is a property in wood that causes damage to artwork.
FastFrame has many styles of mouldings in stock for quick turnaround. Most special order mouldings can be received within a week so the average turn around time on most orders is about ten days.

		Fillets may be added to a frame or mat as an additional design element. Enhancers are used to do just that, enhance frames.
Shadowbox moulding has a deeper rabbet to accommodate object framing.
