Ellen and Michael Simms opened FastFrame in Lakeland in January 2005. After a 25-year career as a CPA in both public and private accounting, Ellen returned to her roots. When Ellen was little, her mother was an artist and frame shop owner. So Ellen was raised on the job surrounded by art. Michael is an entomologist and brings his love of bugs and their natural beauty to the table. Because of their commitment to customer service and the art and science of framing, both Ellen and Michael regularly attend continuing education courses to insure that the latest in framing techniques and technology are used at their shop. FastFrame began in Europe and now has more than 300 locations across the USA and in the UK, Japan, Australia and Brazil. While each FastFrame store is individually owned and operated they enjoy the educational and technical support of the team of professionals at the corporate office in Newbury Park, CA.
